AC Milan and Inter are very keen and determined to build a new stadium together that would suit their needs as the San Siro venue is outdated and owned by the municipality. The two clubs want to own a new facility together in order to help increase their respective revenues.
Building the new stadium in the area of the current venue, however, seems complicated.

As per Corriere della Sera, there are three alternative options for the San Siro...
Giuseppe Meazza remains the plan A for both clubs. But, because of the 'cold relations' with mayor Sala and the municipality, the two Milanese clubs
evaluate three alternatives: Segrate, Sesto San Giovanni and San Donato. In fact, the mayor Sala claims to have done everything possible to speed up the negotiation, but the two clubs are not of the same opinion.
