Yesterday, news from La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that the Rossoneri were among the 30 clubs called into a meeting with UEFA to discuss the breached FFP regulations and parameters while Repubblica wrote that Milan would need to show proof that the management did in fact manage to reduce the deficits and wage bills.

Now, as per Corriere dello Sport, there should be no real issues with UEFA as all clubs have suffered greatly due to the pandemic and revenues were therefore lowered. Furthermore, Milan is one of the few virtuous clubs, given that the Rossoneri are able to reduce their budget gap every year.
In addition to that, in the spring, the regulations of Financial Fair Play will completely change, with UEFA setting new parameters for the 2024-2025 season.
