Formerly at AC Milan during two seperate seasons, 31-year-old Italian centre-forward, Mario Balotelli released an interview to the microphones of The Athletic. As ever, the former Liverpool and Manchester City striker is sure of his qualities: "I have lost a few opportunities to reach the levels of Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, but I am still certain that the technical basis is the same. My head led me to make many mistakes: one of them was leaving Manchester City."
The current player of Adana Demirspor in the Turkish league spoke about his spell at Milan:
"In the following year and a half I did well at Milan, but at City they had just begun their rise. I should have done like Aguero and stayed there for a long time. I would have been among the protagonists and, I am sure, I would have won at least one Ballon d'Or. With the mentality I have today, I certainly would have made it."
