Renato Sanches' name has been heavily linked with a move to the San Siro in the last period. More reports are still coming out with him being the potential replacement of Franck Kessié whose contract is due to expire at the end of the current season. The Lille defensive midfielder, could be a shot in the summer mercato, with his teammate Sven Botman.

According to a report shared by Tuttosport in today's print edition, however, it is not only Milan who are trying to secure his arrival. In fact, Turin-based club Juventus, led by coach Massimiliano Allegri, want him to be their new midfield reinforcement in the summer.

Renato Sanches has an expiring contract in June 2023 and a renewal seems unlikely. Therefore, a sale could be forced for Lille in order to not lose him for free. The Bianconeri have more availability with greater economic resources and they can represent a tough challenge for AC Milan in this transfer race.
