"I see the work of a complete team. Everyone works to be attentive, intense. A physical midfield can help you the most. But if the defenders are doing excellent performances, it means that we are working well up front."

"It's not up to me. But, his match and especially his defensive phase was excellent today."
On Alessandro Florenzi:
"Florenzi played a good match", said Pioli, "He worked very well. He is totally reliable in any position, he can play in 4 or 5."
On not scoring so many goals in Serie A in the recent games...
"I am not worried about having scored a little, we have always created a lot. Tonight we could have scored two or three goals in the first half and we didn't, but we are very satisfied with the defensive performance."
Pioli added:
"Winning 1-0 means being determined and wanting to win. This is what we have lacked in the past: with Salernitana, with Spezia and with Sassuolo we won and then we did not bring home the result. This time we did it."
