Inter boss Simone Inzaghi takes dig at AC Milan when asked about being behind them in standings

AC Milan fans were over the moon last night at the chance of finally seeing their team able to control their fate with Inter dropping points against Torino.

Simone Inzaghi's team had a rough night away from home as they struggled against Ivan Juric's team. The Nerrazzurri wasted some chances and were only able to find an equaliser in the last minutes of the game.

The Inter's tactician expressed himself to DAZN by saying the following after the game:

"If our derby loss took away our confidence? Absolutely not.  Many things did not go into that match and maybe it should have been like this."

He continued:

"Now, we can train more, we have less obligations (after Champions League exit against Liverpool). That's what happened to someone standing there in front of us right now."

Simone Inzaghi on the penalty Torino were not granted:

"He takes foot and ball. The referee is there and the evaluation is his..."
