Elliott management, who are the owners of AC Milan, are ready to invest in English Premier League giants Chelsea as minority investors to back the English businessman Nick Candy who wants to purchase the club.
This is according to Sky News who claim that an Elliott affeliate "has agreed to inject a multimillion pound sum into the London side as part of Mr Candy's offer."
The American hedge fund's stake in The Blues would be below the threshold regarded by UEFA as problematic in relation to dual club ownership. Elliott will also not have any voting or governance rights, as per sources at Sky News.
