AC Milan continue to look at more players despite being close to securing the arrival of Divock Origi of Liverpool. The Belgian player is understood to be close to Milan with some details still to be addressed in order to make the deal go through, as we have told you already.
Calcio Mercato writes today that the former Genk and Lille player could join Milanello on a long-term deal until June 2027 for a post-tax salary of 4 million euros per season. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara like the attacker because he is flexible. He can play as a centre forward and as a left-winger.
There are other forwards, though, who are still on the management's agenda.
According to the Italy-based website, there is the idea of signing Andrea Belotti who will be a free agent in the summer. But, he is not seen as a priority right now. The option to try and sign Gianluca Scamacca is still alive with talks scheduled with Sassuolo.
In France, there are also important profiles being considered to sign besides Origi. In fact, Amine Gouiri, 22, who plays for Nice is on the shortlist without forgetting 19-year-old star of Reims Hugo Ekitike.
In Spain, there is also Swedish forward Alexander Isak who is 22 years old playing for Real Sociedad and valued at 50 million euros.
All these names are being considered by AC Milan besides Liverpool's cult hero Divock Origi. Now, it remains to be seen what the club will choose to do once the transfer market officially opens in the summer.
