The season is not over yet, but the transfer market never stops. Rumours sending Gianluca Scamacca to Milan have emerged again in the last few weeks.
It is no secret that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are keen on securing a striker in view of the new season with Divock Origi close to joining the Rossoneri as a free agent.
At Casa Milan, they are thinking of the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic and there are quite a few profiles to evaluate. Carlo Laudisa, journalist at La Gazzetta dello Sport, took stock of the situation and wrote the following:
"Maldini and Massara are very active in identifying the new center forward (after Ibrahimovic). There has been talk for weeks of Origi, the Belgian center forward of Liverpool who is about to have his contract expiry. But in parallel, the Rossoneri managers also have an appointment with Sassuolo for Gianluca Scamacca."
"Here comes the best, because the Roman striker has all the characteristics to be a center forward in perspective. The problem is the price, Milan starts at 30 million euros. Sassuolo could ask for 40 million."
