AC Milan are keen on signing another weapon for Stefano Pioli in the attack. There are many profiles being evaluated right now as Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara continue to search for the right player who would fit right into Pioli's plans and within the club's financial resources.
Back in October 2021, Calciomercatonews.com have claimed that Milan have been left impressed with the strength and skills of Porto's striker Mehdi Taremi who faced the red and black faithful in the Champions League.
Now, according to a report shared by Portuguese outlet Record, it seems that Milan are still keeping an eye on the 29-year-old attacker from Iran.
In fact, AC Milan have come forward to talk with the directors at Porto to ask for information regarding the player in question. For the Portuguese giants, Mehdi Taremi is valued at around 20 million euros, a fee that is deemed too high currently for the Rossoneri.
For the record, Taremi (who made the assist in the win against Milan this season) has a contract valid until June 2024. The former Qatari club Al Gharafa star and Rio Ave has scored 18 goals and 16 assists in 39 appearances.
