No goal was scored in last night's game against Bologna at the San Siro for AC Milan. The red and black faithful could not enjoy a much-needed win to keep the gap between them and Napoli as well as Inter in the league table.
Stefano Pioli's side struggled offensively and La Gazzetta dello Sport discussed the performances of the players by handing out these following ratings.
Starting off with Ismael Bennacer: he was the man of the match like in our own ratings. He was given a rating of 6.5. Then, All of the defensive department received a vote of 6 for their performances: (Davide Calabria, Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu and Alessandro Florenzi as well as goalkeeper Mike Maignan). In the attack, Olivier Giroud also was shown a 6 for his efforts.
Players who did not perform up to their usual displays were Sandro Tonali, Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz, Ante Rebic, Franck Kessié and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. All of them were given a rating of 5.5.
A 5.5 was not even the worst rating given to the Rossoneri. In fact, the worst player on the pitch was the Brazilian winger of AC Milan: Junior Messias. He was shown a 4.5 rating by the Italian newspaper.
