Gazzetta dello Sport had an exclusive interview with the CEO of Serie A club Sassuolo, Giovanni Carnevali.
The director took stock of the players who are in high demands in view of the next transfer market window. One of them is 27-year-old Italian winger Domenico Berardi who has 14 goals and 14 assists to his name in 27 Serie A games.
Giovanni Carnevali said the following:
"He is our champion. I have the defect of falling in love with my players and I would not give away either Mimmo (Berardi's nickname) or all the others. Last for the first time he had thought of leaving but Fiorentina's offer could not even be taken into consideration."
He added:
"Berardi would be perfect for Milan: if I were the CEO of a top Italian club, he is the first player to I would take."
