Today, Inter won against Hellas Verona 2-0 at the San Siro thanks to two goals scored in the first half by Nicolo Barella in the 22nd minute and Edin Dzeko in the 30th minute. Now, the Nerazzurri have 66 points after playing 31 matches.
Napoli and AC Milan are yet to play their fixtures against Fiorentina and Torino respectively. The team of coach Luciano Spalletti has 66 points and Stefano Pioli's squad is first currently with 67 points.
Inter have one more game missing and they are still very much in the race therefore, waiting for Napoli and Milan to make more mistakes and therefore take over in the standings.
Inter's Croatian star, Ivan Perisic, spoke to DAZN after the victory against Hellas Verona and said the following words:
"In February and March, we did not do well. The results haven't been positive but it's not over yet."

Ivan Perisic added:
"We are there and we must continue as we did today. Last year we won, this year we did well until February. There are many teams in the running for the Scudetto. But, if we fight like today, then I am not afraid."
