Arrigo Sacchi, former legendary coach of AC Milan, granted words to Stefano Barigelli and Fabio Russo's program in the Gazzetta dello Sport and talked about the top 3 contenders for the Serie A race:

"Inter? Their advantage is the value of the squad. The two strongest teams on paper were Inter and Juventus. The bianconeri paid for a bad situation, while Inter have something more. The experience of the last championship triumph is also a big advantage."

On AC Milan:

"If Milan were to win the championship, they would accomplish a feat similar to a miracle. The first desire of the club was to improve the balance sheet, they built a team on young people, they lack the personality to win. Last year, Ibrahimovic was very important to give courage, this year he has practically not participated. Young people are giving everything but they don't have the right experience. We must congratulate them and thank them."

Sacchi on why Milan no longer score goals:

"I repeat: Milan are doing a miracle. They took strangers, players that other clubs no longer wanted and many young people: in these conditions you can do with what you have. We must learn to judge when the players give everything or not, Milan ran yesterday, but badly and with confusion. It is certainly a time of tiredness for everyone. Nothing can be said to the players, perhaps only to Leao, who however is an immature player: great qualities but not a fighting spirit."

On Napoli:

"Napoli lacks continuity: they win a game and relax, like the national team after the European championship. When you relax, you lose."

On Juventus:

"Juventus will re-enter the championship fight because the quality is very high and as a squad, club and economic power are stronger than the others. The problem with Juventus is that they don't have the game at the centre, but the players", said Sacchi.
