Milan struggled in recent games, especially in the last two fixtures against Bologna at San Siro and Torino away from home. The attack is not working as it should, the centre-forward and wingers are not scoring goals anymore and they are struggling to penetrate the defences of other teams.

There are some players in particular who are not convincing the club managers and coach anymore. Tuttosport took stock of their situations and highlighted their names: Samu Castillejo, Junior Messias, Ante Rebic, Brahim Diaz, and Alexis Saelemaekers. The four wingers and the attacking midfielder have not added much to the team effort lately and it is fair to say that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara may be looking to let them go and replace them in the summer.

According to the daily Turin newspaper mentioned above, the plan to rebuild the team is already outlined in Casa Milan. In fact, many new faces and profiles are in the agenda of the club directors.
Milan's targets revealed:
First, there is the Italian right-winger of Sassuolo Domenico Berardi. The Neroverdi deem him highly and the goal for Milan is to reduce the asking price. There is work already ongoing with his entourage as Pioli prefers to sign him and add him to his squad.

Then, there is also Real Madrid's Marco Asensio. His contract expires in June 2023 and Paolo Maldini could find it easier to negotiate with Florentino Perez than with Sassuolo. However, regarding the salary, it is a different story because Asensio would ask for an important salary that may be too high for the Rossoneri.

The new name who is now also linked with a move to the San Siro is Adrian Bernabé of Parma. The Spanish playmaker who is 20 years old pleases the eyes of the club directors and scouts and Milan would be reportedly ready to sign him for 10 million euros.

Finally, it is important to keep in mind that Il Diavolo club managing directors are also expecting the return of Yacine Adli from his loan spell at Bordeaux. The French midfielder definitely shall be part of the team next season.
