Stefano Pioli spoke to the media in tonight's press conference after the Rossoneri's win against Genoa. He said the following words about the team's performance:

"Perfect result obtained through a not perfect performance. The pressure? That's the concept I expressed to the team before we went on the pitch. It's the same pressure, anxiety, we had last year but we were fighting for the top four. So it's a privilege. The boys are fighting for the first time for such an important goal like the Scudetto. I saw the right spirit tonight."

He added:

"It will be a peaceful Easter, but I cannot enjoy the victories. We will work, head focused on Tuesday, we will be together to work."

On the game vs Genoa:

"It's difficult from a mental point of view. We certainly spent a lot of energy. However, we will recover well. On Tuesday, there won't be problems of this type."

Pioli on Pierre Kalulu's performance:

"Pierre is serious and very mature. He knew 20 minutes before kick-off that he was going to play in a position he hasn't been training in for a long time. We often delay the cross and make the attacker miss the move. I'm happy that Leao attacked the goal."

On the performance:

"I liked the team, we made a few mistakes too many after recovering the ball. We recovered the ball a lot, but we weren't always precise in the restart. I liked the two phases. We can be more precise from the start. technical point of view."

On Davide Calabria and Rade Krunic:

"Unfortunately, Davide has a flu syndrome and some fever. He felt like vomitting. I hope he can recover by Tuesday. Krunic? He is an intelligent player and can be deployed anywhere", declared Pioli.
