AC Milan's ownership could change with InvestCorp still in talks with Elliott for a purchase of the club.
The Rossoneri club, currently owned by Elliott Management Corporation, could have its transfer strategy completely changed once InvestCorp do complete the takeover, report French sources.
In fact, as per Footmercato journalist Santi Aouna, it seems that Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini have set their sights on Algerian star winger of Manchester City: Riyad Mahrez. His contract is due to expire at the end of the next season. The Rossoneri management, though, are not the only ones interesting in securing his services. It is understood that Paris Saint-Germain would also be keen on him.
As per the journalist, AC Milan new potential owners want to have higher ambitions and they will lead an aggressive signing campaign.
Lille's star Renato Sanches as well as his teammate Sven Botman are already secured and InvestCorp will try to add their own signings in the summer if they do end up buying the club by the end of the current season.
