Today's edition of the daily Turin-based newspaper of Tuttosport bring important updates regarding the negotiations between InvestCorp and Elliott for the purchase of AC Milan.

As per the Italian newspaper, the Elliott fund would like to hold a minority stake in the Serie A club. The American hedge fund, in fact, is waiting for the green light from the municipality for the construction of the new stadium which should arrive by the end of the 2022 year. Only at that point would Elliott share their last share of the club.
For its part, Investcorp would become the owner of AC Milan only after having the certainty of being able to manage a state-of-the-art stadium, capable of maximizing revenues.

According to Tuttosport, that is why the figure of the deal could end up being even higher than the reported 1.1 billion euros.
