AC Milan brought home a great victory against Hellas Verona. Despite going down 1-0, the Rossoneri kept working hard and found the equaliser right before the end of the first half. In the second half, Sandro Tonlai, who scored the first, gave the lead to his teammates in the 49th minute before Alessandro Florenzi scored the third goal in the 86th minute.
La Gazzetta dello Sport commented on the the performance of the Rossoneri as they highlight how important Sandro Tonali was in midfield. He received a vote of 8 and was crowned as the best on the pitch for AC Milan. Rafael Leao also shared the same score as he contributed with 2 assists to the midfielder.
Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori worked really well in the defence and were both granted a 7 for their efforts. Rade Krunic who started as the attacking midfielder was shown the same rating as well. Alessandro Florenzi who entered in the second half and scored a goal for himself after a return from injury was also given a 7.
Franck Kessié, Alexis Saelemaekers, Davide Calabria, Ante Rebic and Junior Messias were all shown a vote of 6.5 by the Italian newspaper.
AC Milan's Mike Maignan, Olivier Giroud and Ismael Bennacer had a rating of just 6, same as Theo Hernandez. The French full-back was voted as the least impressive player on the pitch.
