Alessio Romgnoli's contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the season. The Rossonero number 13, and club captain, seems unlikely to remain at Milanello, as per most reports.
The Biancocelesti, coached by Maurizio Sarri, are reportedly pushing to sign him on a Bosman. But, there are more clubs also interested in landing the former AS Roma central defender, it seems.
According to Mundo Deportivo, other top European clubs are keen on the 27-year-old Italian centre-back. In fact, FC Barcelona are indeed in the race to recruit the player into their squad (where he should join Franck Kessie).
Premier League giants Chelsea are looking to replace Andrea Christensen (who goes to Barcelona) and Antonio Rudiger (to Real Madrid) with Alessio Romagnoli as well. Then, there is also the interest coming from German heavyweights Bayern Munich who want to replace Niklas Sule (who is set to join Borussia Dortmund).
La Liga side Sevilla also are keeping an eye on the Rossoneri defender in case their French star Jules Koundé leaves in the summer.
