According to multiple recent reports, Elliott are very close to an agreement with RedBird Capital Partners.
The lawyers of RedBird and AC Milan club are all working together and divided between Italy and Serie A to close this operation soon.
On the American side, the studios are Gibson Dunn and Legance , while in Italy Elliott has relied on 5Lex and Davis, Polk and Wardwell. This is what was reported by those at Il Sole 24 Ore. The decisive acceleration between the two funds could come shortly, after having found an agreement in principle at 1.3 billion. What is missing to define the deal are some contractual aspects. Therefore, barring major upheavals, the operation should close shortly.
The Rossoneri's new leader should be Gerry Cardinale, owner of RedBird, the management should remain the current one, with the renewals of Maldini and Massara appearing to be close enough.
