Inter's Chuef Executive Officer, Giuseppe Marotta, spoke to Il Mattino and revealed the goals of the Nerazzurri club by saying the following:
"The core business is the game of football, the management continues with the project started a few years ago and that goes on. Inter's goal was the top four and from there come tens and tens of millions, fundamental for the club's coffers."
On Inter's sustainability:
"It is fundamental. Certain costs must be contained, this must be understood: today the cost of labor is close to 70% of turnover and this is unacceptable. Reducing costs is essential, but also safeguarding competitiveness. Pursuing sustainability, yes, but also enhancing resources."
