AC Milan had an ongoing season-long derby with Inter for the Scudetto. The Rossoneri came out on top, but the challenge continues even off the pitch.
In the transfer market window, the two Milanese clubs are seeking investment opportunities in important talents in order to increase the quality of their respective teams. The Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri are ready to go into battle once again for one player in particular.

According to a report shared by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, the two clubs are exploring a move for Empoli's Albanian talented defensive midfielder Kristjan Asllani. He is 20 years old, right-footed and made 23 appearances in Serie A this season already. After starting the season with the Primavera, Asllani played his first game as a starter in Serie A on February 6 against Bologna, and from there the Albanian became a pillar for his coach Aurelio Andreazzoli.
The talented player who is born in 2002 is very much liked by Inter but also by Milan too who keep an eye on talented players of Empoli after signing Ismael Bennacer and Rade Krunic.
