La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition have highlighted the three top targets for Paolo Maldini's AC Milan in the transfer market window of the summer which officially starts in July 1.
The technical director, with sports director Frederic Massara want to improve the team of Stefano Pioli in the summer. Paolo Maldini has insisted in a recent interview that the club must now add two to three big signings in order to be able to be more competitive and do better in Champions League next season.

In this sense, and always according to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta, the name that really pleases the club managers for the defence is Torino's Brazilian star Gleison Bremer. Botman is still on the agenda. However, due to some slowdowns and further evaluations, the name of Bremer is now back in fashion at the offices of the directors in Casa Milan. It is also worthy to note that he is on the radar of Inter as they are very keen on him. But, Milan may choose to enter the race to try and overtake their rivals in the negotiations with Torino.

The second name on Paolo Maldini's list to reinforce the AC Milan squad remains Renato Sanches. A top talent from French outfit Lille. The Portuguese midfielder is understood to be close to the Rossoneri with the transfer not costing more than 15 to 20 million euros.

The third top signing of the club directors would be Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma. He is the 22-year-old Italian technical right-winger who delivered Roma's first European trophy thanks to his goal against Feyenoord in the UEFA Conference League final. The negotiation to sign this player would be very difficult though as his initial evaluation, as per the source, is somewhere between 60 to 70 million euros. AC Milan's director Paolo Maldini, though, wants to understand if there is a room to negotiate a price and bring the boy to Milanello in order to significantly raise the bar and bring more quality to Stefano Pioli's team.
