Gerry Cardinale wants to take AC Milan to new heights in Italy and Europe, as stated in the official press release (read it here).
Taking stock of the business deal between the two American companies, 'Verita e Affari' dedicates a financial analysis to the transfer of ownership of the Rossoneri club from Elliott to RedBird for 1.23 billion euros.
RedBird, in fact, will only put 300 million euros in liquidity on the table, while the rest would be in debt.
Elliott provides loan to RedBird:
According the Italy-based newspaper, a loan is granted to RedBird, around 600 million euros at interest rates of 15%. Another 300 million euros is granted by American bank JP Morgan.
