AC Milan target, Noa Lang, announces that his plan is to leave Club Brugge this summer.
The left-winger spoke honestly to the microphones of HLN.be:
"In my head yes," Lang answers when asked if he is leaving this summer. "Obviously you never know what will happen, but there is really no plan to stay at Club (Bruge) for another year. I could have left last year, but I'm grateful I stayed for another season. I really learned a lot this year and am now more ready for the next step."
"I have made Belgian football hot", he said, "That's how I honestly think. Children of six, seven years here now know Club Brugge. In the Netherlands, people suddenly look at your competition. That was not the case before I played at Club (Brugge)."
"Believe me, Belgium will miss me when I'm gone. I gave your football colour. Next season you will pray that there will be a Noa Lang walking around in Belgium, who can also play football so well."
On AC Milan's interest:
"I can't deny that Milan are interested in signing me but it's not like I have a personal agreement with them."
He continued to talk about his future:
"I want to go to a very nice, big club. One that prefers to play in the Champions League. A club that hits the top. Look, I'm 22. I have all the time. I don't have to go from Club to Real Madrid, that step is unbelievably big."
Noa Lang concluded:
"I first want to perform well elsewhere, and then sign as a big boy at the absolute world top. I am convinced that I will get there anyway."
