Gerry Cardinale, upon the confirmation of the agreement between RedBird and Elliott for the purchase of 70 of shares of AC Milan, has met with the club management, including coach Stefano Pioli.
The Italy-based newspaper focused on the meeting between the RedBird founder and the Rossoneri tactician and wrote that the American businessman insisted that he wants to see the team continue with the winning ways.
There was a good feeling immediately started between the two. Informal and friendly meeting. Massara was there too. Cardinale complimented Pioli for the Scudetto.
For now, Pioli is at work preparing the wedding of his son Gianmarco, who works with him in Milan.
