Sven Botman is a top summer target for AC Milan as Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara try to bring him over to the San Siro from French outfit Lille.
The Dutchman, formerly at Ajax, seems to be keen on making the switch and leaving his current club. It is worthy to note, however, that Newcastle are interested in signing the player.
Here are the 22-year-old centre-back's words:
"AC Milan deal? We are working on that. It’s difficult for me to stay distant from things at the moment, I hear something about this almost every day."
Botman added:
"Things are in progress and I hope there will be more clarity before the pre-season", he told ESPN.
