Domenico Berardi finished what was a positive season with Sassuolo as he scored 15 goals and provided 17 assists after 34 league games. The 27-year-old Italian, former Juventus player, has a contract until June 2024 and his future may be away from the Neroverdi as he is linked with a move to AC Milan.
According to what is reported today by Milannews.it, Sassuolo have put a costly pricetag on their star in the face of AC Milan's interest: a whopping 40 million euros. It is certainly not a very easy fee to come by.
There are, however, alternatives that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are keeping a close eye on.
