AC Milan managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara value the efforts and performances of Italian experienced full-back Alessandro Florenzi who turned 31 on March 11.
As we told you already back in March, it's always been the plan of the Rossoneri to make the move of the player from AS Roma to the San Siro permanent, but on a discount. The negotiation with the capital club have been ongoing for a while to secure a reduced buy-option.
As per Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, we are now close to the finish line for the stay of Alessandro Florenzi with a discount on the pricetag a figure that should be between 2.5 to 3 million euros compared to the initial buy-option in the contract which was set at around 4.5 million euros. The deal is done, as per the source, thanks to the work of AC Milan managers Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini who managed to reduce the demands of Roma.
In these negotiations, the journalist also adds that there has been no mention of Nicolo Zaniolo whose name was linked with the Rossoneri.
