After a Scudetto victory, the AC Milan club is going through a delicate moment as new majority owners have come and the contracts of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara expiring at the end of the June month. The talks for the extension of the two directors' deals have been ongoing for a while.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the signing of Maldini and Massara could arrive within a week. Once the renewal of the contract has been signed, the two managers will be free to reinforce the team through major signings in the transfer market window. The goal is to sign important quality players and defend the Scudetto title while also going deeper in the Champions League competition.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have in mind several profiles such as Sven Botman, Divock Origi, Noa Lang, and Renato Sanches. The Portuguese midfielder, however, has become a difficult trail to follow because Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race.
