The Rossoneri club captain, Alessio Romagnoli, who won the Serie A league title in his latest season with the team of Stefano Pioli is set to leave the San Siro in favour of a move to the capital, and more specifically to Lazio. Coach Maurizio Sarri wants a defensive reinforcement for his squad in view of the new season and Claudio Lotito could soon present the Italia centre-back as the newest addition to the Biancocelesti.
The defender seems likely to leave as a free agent. The latest newspaper report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that an agreement has been found. The salary of the central defender would be set at 3 million euros net per season.
