Basaksehir have made their intention known: they want to sign Brazilian centre-back Léo Duarte from AC Milan on a permanent basis. The defender has impressed the club managers there and has gained a starting spot. The Turks want to keep him. But, the buy-option is deemed too high (set around 5 million euros).

According to what is reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com today, Basaksehir are close to securing the stay of their star for a fee which would be around 2 million euros. The negotiations have been ongoing for a while now. The proposal is 2 million euros and the Rossoneri management has shown their willingness to accept the fee to let go of Léo Duarte despite it not being the amount agreed upon in the initial contract agreement 18 months ago.
In the coming days, the deal may be definitively closed.
