AC Milan's summer so far is delicate and a little complicated because managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have not yet signed on a contract renewal. The work is ongoing for their extensions which should arrive by the end of this week. The transfer market window in Italy opens on July 1st and the fans are eagerly awaiting to see the moves of the club.
Tuttosport have denied the rumours about the Rossoneri having allocated a budget around 45 million euros for the transfer market window and write that it would be a little higher: only 60 million euros. The transfer market window will have to be full of creative signings in order to be able to spend accordingly.
AC Milan evaluate alternatives to their top summer targets
As per the same Italian newspaper, the club management is thinking of alternatives to Botman, Sanches and Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang (the Belgian attacking midfielder is valued at 40 million euros with Club Brugge not willing to sell him now while the Dutch winger's pricetag is around 22 million euros).
The alternatives names are: 21-year-old Argentinian midfielder of River Plate Enzo Fernandez, Roma's midfielder Bryan Cristante, Montpellier's centre-back Maxime Esteve who is 20 years old, Francesco Acerbi from Lazio, or Sassuolo teammates: Hamed Traoré (Ivorian, 22 years old) or Filip Djuricic (Serbian, 30 years old) for the attacking midfield department.
Tuttosport write that regarding Sven Botman, there are those with a particular thought at Casa Milan: the partnership of Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori should be trusted for the new season.
