Argentinian starlet of River Plate Enzo Fernandez has been linked with a move to the San Siro in the last few weeks. Mainly, he has been mentioned in reports as a potential replacement of the transfer of Portugal international Renato Sanches.
Benfica and Wolverhampton Wanderers were both reportedly in talks for him with AC Milan's scouts also monitoring him closely. But, eventually, it seemed that the Portuguese beat all the competition to land him. An official statement has been published confirming that an official agreement has been found.
River Plate is set to receive a transfer fee of 10 million euros plus another 8 million in bonuses.
