As reported by Corriere della Sera, Renato Sanches who is the midfield star of Lille, remains the favourite and preferred choice for AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
An agreement has been found with the former Bayern Munich star for some time now. However, the change of the Rossoneri club ownership and some internal problems of Lille club have slowed down the negotiations that have not closed.
In addition to that, Paris Saint-Germain remain interested and have even taken advantage of the stellmate situation thanks to their new director Luis Campos who has signed Renato Sanches when he was at Lille.
The French champions, to snatch the AC Milan target, would be ready to shell out 30 million euros which is way more than what Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are willing to spend, almost double (18 million euros).
