As reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in today's print edition, RedBird founder Gerry Cardinale is still in the USA looking to bring capital and partners: the greater the number of members, the greater the amount of money that Cardinale will be able to put into Milan.
The American businessman is looking for partners who would help him throughout the journey of running AC Milan. He already has been able to pledge 600 million euros, therefore about half the amount established for the purchase of Milan, An excellent result, but the new Milan owner is still working.
Tuttosport, however, write that it is fundamental that Gerry Cardinale returns to Italy to finalise renewal negotiations with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. July 4th is the date of the players return to the training camp and there is a risk of reaching that date without new signings.
