As Thomas Tuchel is at work with the new Chelsea owners regarding a rebuild of the team, AC Milan have approached the English club to discuss the possible signing of Hakim Ziyech, 29-year-old right-winger.
The former Ajax star is available on the transfer list of the Blues and would be open to joining the Serie A champions but an agreement must be found regarding his yearly salary which is larger than what the Rossoneri would normally pay. AC Milan, for their part, are discussing the situation internally and also with the agents of the player in question.
Ziyech, who started 19 out of 48 appearances in Premier League and Champions League, does not seem like a pillar to the vision of Thomas Tuchel. His contract expires in June 2025. In the latest campaign, he scored 8 goals and made 6 assists.
