The attacking midfielder position needs reinforcement in the AC milan lineup as coach Stefano Pioli wants to take his team to the next level. The Rossoneri, after winning the Scudetto in the last day of the previous season, are looking forward to the new campaign especially the Champions League competition.

According to the latest news, besides Pioli's approval of Marco Asensio, there are quite a few players on the radar of the Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.

As per the daily Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print, for the attacking midfield there are always the usual following names: Charles De Ketelaere who would cost around 30 to 35 million euros (also liked by Premier League side Leeds United). Then, there is his teammate at Club Brugge Noa Lang who is mainly a left-winger.

Hakim Ziyech is an option as well for the red and black faithful without forgetting Paulo Dybala. Both are more feasible for AC Milan than Nicolo Zaniolo of AS Roma.

For the Moroccan star, Milan could succeed in trying to sign him on loan. As for the Argentina star of Juventus, Inter are negotiating to sign him on a free, but AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara can sit at the negotiation table and overtake their rivals, reflections are ongoing.
