AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are at work to find solutions for coach Stefano Pioli who would like quality in order to be able to take the team to the next level, especially in the Champions League campaign. One of the names being followed by the Rossoneri managers is understood to be Real Madrid's right-winger Marco Asensio who can also play as an attacking midfielder.
The Spaniard has a contract which is due to expire at the end of the 2022-2023 season and according to the latest reports, a renewal does not seem likely, not yet at least.

According to Sergio Santos of Relevo, Marco Asensio's priority is to continue his adventure with Los Blancos as he intends to fulfill his contract. However, an exit is not excluded if the right offer comes and continue to push for his signature. As for Real Madrid's part, the pricetag is at 50 million euros which is driving away any team interested in securing his arrival.
