Divock Origi has finished his medical visits at La Madonnina Clinic in Milan. The player will soon join AC Milan officially on a free transfer after many years spent at the Anfield with Liverpool.
The Belgian forward who is 27 years old is a player who will be very useful to coach Stefano Pioli and his system, as journalist Luca Marchetti of Sky Sport Italia has explained:
"He is a player that Milan needed because they needed a younger number 9. Sometimes, in fact, this season, Milan found themselves lacking a bit in the attacking department. Origi has great experience. He played in 4 different countries: in England, Germany, Italy and Belgium. He was not a regular at Liverpool but he knows how to fit in immediately, especially as a substitute."
📊 @OptaPaolo: Since 2015/16 (season of his debut in the English top flight) only Olivier Giroud (17) has scored more goals than Divock #Origi in Premier League as a substitute (11, level with Marcus Rashford) 🔥 pic.twitter.com/G9iGrz7h9O
