AC Milan have been safe in the last season in the goalkeeper position thanks to the great display of qualities of Mike Maignan who made the fans forget about Gianluigi Donnarumma who opted for a move to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Tuttosport, today, took stock of the situation of two other goalkeepers, though at AC Milan. We are talking about Antonio Mirante and Alessandro Plizzari who spent the second half of the season on loan at Lecce who gained promotion to Serie A.
As per the newspaper, Antonio Mirante could renew and be confirmed as third goalkeeper, while Alessandro Plizzari could leave Milan once again on loan.
The scenario, however, could change if Daniel Maldini were to leave AC Milan (on loan). At that point, Alessandro Plizzari could remain in order to solve of home-grown Italian players list issue when registering squad members in the new league campaign.
