The defensive area of AC Milan should be reinforced, with Simon Kjaer's return from a long injury and Alessio Romagnoli (now a free agent) close to making a transfer elsewhere (Fulham came in with an offer and he is studying his options as he prefers Lazio), the Rossoneri management is looking to strengthen the club.
Sky Sport Italia journalist Alessandro Sugoni has spoken about the situation and said the following words:
"Regarding the defence, evaluations are underway on how to intervene there. The names for the defense are Acerbi, Diallo, Hincapiè and Theate."
On the need to reinforce the AC Milan offensive department:
"Milan continues to monitor the Ziyech situation. He is the favourite to reinforce the area. The player has opened the negotiations for Milan but will have to lower his salary to facilitate the operation. De Ketelaere trail remains an option but an offer is not yet formulated, same also for Berardi from Sassuolo. On the Dybala front, however, the obstacle is the salary requested by the Argentine's entourage. Milan are thinking of concentrating more on the offensive front."
