AC Milan centre-back Simon Kjaer is finally back to the pitch at Milanello as he prepares for the start of a new season. He spoke to the microphones of Milan TV moments ago:
"I waited for this day for 7 months. I am happy to be here and to play football."
On his physical condition:
"I'm fine, I've done a lot of work so far but there is still a lot to do. Physically I'm fine, I've taken some holidays with my family. But during the holiday, I only had the desire to go back to training."
On working with data:
"I did four months with data and numbers. I know where I have to stay and what numbers I need to grow physically, and it's important to have numbers too."
Kjaer on the Scudetto victory:
"We are all happy with the Scudetto, but it will be pressure to give our best this year. Now we have to improve. Pressure? We are Milan, we won the Scudetto and it has to be like that."
