Divock Origi was officially unveiled by the AC Milan club as the newest signing yesterday. The Belgian player's interview with the Milan TV channel was also revealed (read here).
Tuttosport took stock of the situation in the attacking department of the club and write that now that Origi has signed a deal with Milan, he will be on a tough competition with the former Chelsea centre-forward Olivier Giroud.
The two players will be eyeing up that starting position for the central forward position. But for now, Divock Origi is still recovering from his injury. He was initially planned to remain out of the pitch for 10 days then join the rest of his teammates at Milanello. However, it could even be extended up to a month before being able to train with the players. Therefore, there is a risk of missing the first matchday of Serie A. But, Olivier Rebic should be up to the task of playing there and rotating with Giroud when needed.
