Charles De Ketelaere has decided that he wants to leave Club Brugge in order to join the AC Milan club. On last Monday, he already joined his teammates for training, but he is waiting for the mercato move of the Italian giants as he wants to play in the Rossoneri colours soon. He is expecting a call from his agent soon, the same agent who rejected an offer from Premier League side Leeds United, reports Calciomercato.com.
According to the Italy-based website, Leeds United had offered 35 million euros transfer fee to sign the Belgian talent, but the player is not a fan of the destination.
Club Brugge, aware of the boy's will, have rejected the first offer from AC Milan which was set at 20 million euros plus bonuses. But, they are now opening up to a deal which would include cash plus counterparts. In fact, they have expressed their interest in Primavera Danish goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal and Swedish striker Emil Roback.
At the same time, Club Brugge are making moves to sign a new striker, who may very well be Lazio's Vedat Muriqi. It should be mentioned that Charles De Ketelaere played the majority of last season as a centre-forward. Therefore, the Turk could be his replacement. Meanwhile, Charles' agents have set up a meeting with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
