AC Milan are keen on reinforcing the attacking midfield area with a playmaker and a right winger as Hakim Ziyech and Charles De Ketelaere are heavily linked with a move to the San Siro. But, there is also on the agenda the need to strengthen the midfield and make a quality, but affordable signing there, as the name of Renato Sanches is still on the shortlist. We should not also forget the defensive department. In fact, even after losing Sven Botman, it seems that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to add someone there, but perhaps at a cheaper price.

According to well-known Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio during 'Calcio Mercato - L'Originale', Milan are pushing for Renato Sanches:
"Milan won't let go of Renato Sanches. Today there were new contacts with Lille. PSG has slowed down a bit, this favors Milan. Let's see if Milan will be able to take on the midfielder they had chased for a long time already in these days."
AC Milan on Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham:
"During the day there was also a meeting with Tanganga's agent, a young Tottenham defender who hasn't played much in the last period of the season. He needs to recover, he wants to try a new experience. He is a name on the list, there is still no negotiation between Milan and Tottenham."
Tanganga is an English 23-year-old defender who plays mainly as a centre-back. With the Spurs, he only appeared in 19 matches in total last season. He can play also as a right-back given his characteristics and speed. His contract with his current club expires in June, 2025. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at around 10 million euros.
