Alessio Romagnoli, currently a free agent, is reportedly one step away from Lazio now. The former AC Milan captain who won a Scudetto last season, is set to have a new adventure elsewhere.
The left-footed 27-year-old central defender, product of the AS Roma youth academy made 26 appearances last season with the red and black faithful and scored 1 goal. He lost his starting spot to Pierre Kalulu who had a great campaign and played very well when called upon. The Biancocelesti have been working to secure his signing and it appears that they are finally ready to welcome him home.
The player is known for his love for Lazio, a club he cheered for when he was a child. It is a fact that he has never hidden. Now, confirmations arrive from Gianluca Di Marzio who wrote on his Twitter account that Romagnoli is set to make a move to Lazio on a free.
