The SS Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi seems destined to leave this summer. La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition took stock of the situation of the 34-year-old Italian defender as he is linked with some clubs, including AC Milan.
According to the newspaper, despite still having a contract until June 2025 with a significant net salary ongoing for himself, he is looking to leave Lazio in order to have a new and fresh experience elsewhere.
AC Milan, Inter, and Juventus are reportedly interested in launching an attempt to land him as they smell a possible low cost deal that would allow them to have a very good defender in the squad as a rotation option.
For the Rossoneri part, they see Acerbi as a good replacement for Alessio Romagnoli who is on the verge of signing with the Biancocelesti. For Stefano Pioli, the Lazio experienced defender, who formerly played with the red and black faithful, would not be a starter but he would be always available for him when deemed necessary.
