Yacine Adli was signed last year by AC Milan from Bordeaux and was immediately sent back to them on loan to play one more season there where he could mature further, gain more experience and develop his skills. The Franc-Algerian who is 21 years old is presented today to the Italian media in a press conference. Here are his statements:
"It's true that I integrated very well and quickly. At Milanello we are a family that works together and wants to progress every day. I played in several positions. At this moment the coach can let me play and he tried me in different positions in the midfield, because the most important thing for me is playing with the Rossoneri shirt. I saw the team a lot last season. What struck me is the impressive strength of the team. They have been consistent and strong in all games."
Yacine Adli added:
"I don't really have any French idols, but at PSG I played with George Weah's son, Timothy. George told me to look at Roberto Baggio, with whom he played, as an example, for him he was a fantastic player. So I did."
On Roberto Baggio and Zinédine Zidane:
"Baggio, Zidane ... let's talk about great names. They are champions to admire and observe closely for what they have done. I try to make my way and progress day by day."
What kind of a player are you?

How was the last season with Bordeaux?
"It wasn't easy, I tried to stay focused on Bordeaux. I always had Milan in my head, I wanted to arrive here in the best conditions."
On knowing some of the players already at Milanello:

What personal goals do you have, and also team goals?
"My French teammates have been good at adapting quickly. I have joined the Italian champions. I propose myself with great humility and with a great desire to grow, improve and achieve great results."
On the Italian language:
"I understand everything in Italian. But, speaking it is difficult. I hope to be able to give interviews in Italian within 2-3 months. Jersey number? I don't know yet." (Yacine Adli answered in Italian).
What's the difference between French football and Italian football:
"In the French championship there is great physicality, while in the Italian one more importance is given to tactics and technique. I too will have to get to know it better."
